UTILITIES CLERK

The Town of Niverville is currently accepting resumes for a part-time Utilities Clerk.  This permanent position will require 30 hours per week, with the ability to flex hours as needed. Responsibilities for this position include the processing of utility bills, by-law enforcement and cemetery administration, reception and general office duties.  

Applicants must be reliable, organized, professional, detail oriented with exceptional customer service skills, bondable and proficient with Microsoft Office. Qualifications for this position include an aptitude for attention to detail, accuracy, basic accounting skills, problem solving and a valid Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license. Engineering Technologist 

Fusion Industries Inc. has been providing custom fabrication and welding services to customers across  North America for over a decade. We work in a variety of industries including: Ag, Material Handling,  Structural Steel, Industrial, and Mechanical. 

Our team in Niverville, MB (just a short 20 min. drive from Winnipeg), is looking for a full-time  Engineering Technologist. 

Responsibilities: 

∙ Design and prepare drawings according to customer requirements 

∙ Complete documentation packages and drawing sets 

Qualifications: 

∙ 3-5 years design/CAD experience 

∙ Proficient with SolidWorks and creating shop drawings 

∙ Experience with sheet metal design 

∙ Fabrication experience is a definite asset 

Must be: 

∙ Organized with a high attention to detail 

∙ Able to work with tight deadlines 

∙ A team player 

∙ An excellent communicator both oral and written

Accountant

Heritage Lane Builders is a family-owned construction business located just outside of Niverville, MB.  We place a high regard on relationships and integrity and if you believe in the same values, we would like to hear from you.  Reporting to the President and Owners, you will be responsible for:

  • Payroll

  • Data entry such as accounts payables and receivables

  • Reconciliations and interim financial statements preparation

  • Record keeping for multiple companies

  • Budget comparison and analysis

  • Submit government remittances

  • Cost accounting

The Requirements:

  • Accounting designation or an equivalent combination of related experience and education

  • Minimum 5 years practical full-cycle accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent time management

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and be self-motivated

Construction Project Manager

Your duties will include:

  • Plan, organize, direct and control daily operations on-site

  • Plan and prepare construction schedules for various trades

  • Participate in project site meetings

  • Review all drawings and specifications

  • Establish and implement all policies and procedures

  • Manage all project documentation

Your qualifications should include:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience in the commercial/condo industry

  • Superior understanding of safety programs, building codes, drawings and quality control
